Meditation is the practice of stilling the mind and learning to become fully present in whatever we are doing.

There are many different styles of meditation (sometimes called mindfulness) but they all help us calm our flitting minds and emotions, cultivate contentment and (as we now know from much research) actually change the shape of our brains – in a good way of course.
