covid-19 policy

Your health & well-being is our priority.

We have spent a great deal of time preparing for re-opening so that we can return to our wonderful studio and in person classes. We have made important changes to how the centre will operate in order to ensure your safety and wellbeing at all times. We ask you to please cooperate in these difficult times to ensure that we can create a space that feels safe and welcoming to all our visitors. Thank you.

Policy and procedures updated 15th July 2021.

We acknowledge, the changes to government guidance coming into effect on Monday 19th July.

For the time being, we will not be making many changes to our current measures. But we do have a few updates (below in bold).

Please do read on to ensure you are up to date with our expectations.  We will continue to review our procedures and updates will be made as and when we make any changes.

Please note that we are doing what is necessary to create a space which feels safe for everyone and we ask everyone, in a spirit of community, to respect and abide by these measures.

*** Please do not come to the Centre if you have a cough or a cold, a raised temperature, loss of smell or taste, or if you feel unwell. ***

booking, arrival and what to bring...

  • Book your class on our website or the MindBody app at least 15 minutes before the class start time.
  • We are not taking bookings or payments at the Centre, reception will only open to provide access to classes.
  • Bring your own mat and/or equipment to class.
  • Arrive dressed for class in exercise clothes – changing rooms remain closed.
  • Doors will open 10-15 minutes before class, if you arrive earlier you will need to wait outside.
  • Doors will close promptly, so please be on time. We cannot guarantee access for late arrivals as reception will not be staffed on a regular basis.
  • Class booking capacity is limited to ensure safe distancing (approx 2m.) between each person during the class. Booking will close when all spaces have been booked.
  • Please depart promptly after class to avoid crowding and maintain social distancing at all times.
  • See booking ts&cs here.

at the studio: safety & hygiene

  • Wear a mask on arrival and in all communal areas (except during class) unless you are exempt.
  • From Monday 19th July, we encourage the continued use of masks in communal areas which can become crowded.
  • Please sanitise your hands on arrival, departure and as necessary to reduce the risk of transmission. Sanitiser is provided in reception, inside and outside studios.
  • Maintain social distancing. Move directly to the studio and depart promptly, please wait until you have left the centre to catch up and chat outdoors.
  • Due to our very large Main Studio, we have a generous capacity in classes with 2 metre distancing in place.
  • From Monday 19th July We do not at this time plan to increase capacity for the majority of classes. However, where the format of the class allows, we will increase capacity by a small amount (e.g studio only classes with no zoom setup taking up space). We will add one or two classes in Studio 2 with a lower capacity.
  • Windows will be kept open during classes to allow the best possible ventilation. Layers are advised when chilly.
  • A dehumidifier/air purifier is available for use in between classes to decrease the risk of airborne pathogens.
  • Main touch points are cleaned between classes.
  •  A full, thorough clean of studios and communal spaces is carried out daily.

  • Directions will be clearly marked around the building.
