In the rare instance that we have to cancel a class, course or workshop, we will notify you in advance and refund you any fees paid in full if you have pre-paid. If you cancel before the start of a course, the refund will depend on the amount of notice we have received and percentage refunds are shown below.
drop in classes: We really appreciate online bookings for classes as this reduces queues and makes your arrival smoother, so we aim to be flexible if you cannot make a class.
If you can give more than 24 hours notice, we can either give a full refund or move your booking to another class. After this period, contact us before the start of the class and we can move your booking onto another class or offer credit at BNHC. Unfortunately if you do not show up and do not contact us in advance, we cannot issue refunds or exchanges.
courses & workshops: You must give minimum 24 hours notice before the start of a course or workshop to be eligible for any refund.
2 weeks (14 days) or more: Full refund.
1-2 weeks: 75% refund or full credit on account.
Less than 1 week (7 days): 50% refund or 75% credit on account.
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if you arrive too late to enter a class or workshop, and advise you aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of the event. However if you are running late call reception before the start of the class/event to inform us so we can try to arrange late access. We do not give refunds for sessions missed within a course, and it is not possible to ‘transfer’ sessions missed to another course or date.
Any credit on account either offered in rebate by the centre or issued as a gift will be valid for 1 year from the date issued or as stated on the gift card/voucher.
Occasionally we may offer you a substitute teacher if the usual teacher is not able to teach a particular class. We prefer to be able to offer you an alternative rather than just cancelling outright. If we are unable to source a substitute teacher and you are on a course, your usual teacher will offer a replacement class on another date. If you cannot make this replacement class, or there is no time on the schedule to offer a replacement class, we will refund you the value of that class. Use our online timetable to stay up to date!
Make sure that you book well in advance of the course/workshop starting to avoid disappointment. We work on a first-come, first-served principle both for courses and drop-in classes. Reception is staffed during core hours, outside these times a volunteer or teacher will open the reception 10-15 minutes before the class to allow entry. We cannot guarantee entry after the start of a class, course or workshop unless you contact us – if you are running late, please give us a call and we will do our best to ensure access for late arrivals.
